Who & what is covered | QLeave – QLeave | QLeave, This includes workers who: are engaged as a full-time, part-time or casual employee. are engaged under a contract for service, including labour hire workers. operate as a sole trader. work for both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations. Employers who engage eligible workers must register with QLeave.


as a casual, part-time or full-time employee. as a sole trader subcontractor (providing substantially labour only) as a foreperson or sub-foreperson (performing building and supervision work) by a labour hire company. Some company directors who perform building and construction work may also be eligible to join QLeave.


Employers are required to advise QLeave when starting a new worker or terminating a worker’s employment .


Become a member. If you’re eligible to join QLeave you will be registered by your employer when they submit an employer return to QLeave. QLeave will confirm your registration and advise you of your membership number. Provide this number to your employer to ensure that your work is recorded on your membership.
